Ranjit has over 20 years of experience in the technology services sector with a track record of driving growth in the global businesses that he has managed. Prior to Ness, he served as the President of Fitch Solutions, a data and analytical services business where he repositioned the business for growth through strategic investments and acquisitions in differentiated analytical offerings. He was previously the Managing Director of Advisory & Investment Management, a data analytics business unit of Thomson Reuters.

Ranjit was a partner at McKinsey, and one of the earliest leaders in forming their Digital practice. He also founded the Lean Software Development and IT strategy practices.

Ranjit joins Ness in 2020, at a key moment in our growth story. He brings a unique perspective, having worked on the demand side with CTOs as well as on the supply side with service providers. He has partnered with CTOs across industries to help them leverage data and technology to transform and drive business outcomes. As our Chief Executive Officer, Ranjit leads the company in formulating and operationalizing our strategy. His objectives are to maximize the value we deliver to our customers as they continue their digital transformation journey, and driving expansion of the Ness business.

As President and Chief Operating Officer, Vinay Rajadhyaksha heads delivery of Ness services globally by leading Ness’s talented community of engineers, cultivating cutting-edge expertise through Ness’s Practice areas, and driving strategic initiatives. Vinay and his team leverage our distinctive organizational competencies to build industry-leading digital platforms and products, promote innovation through process and technology, and continually advance our engineering team’s expertise to help Ness’s clients take advantage of the latest technologies. With a background in both sales and delivery, Vinay is known for his ability to bring together the talents of engineers across multiple countries to generate transformative business value for customers.

Vinay has more than 30 years of global IT experience with expertise in delivering high-quality, agile solutions at scale, having worked for both large and small organizations. Vinay joined Ness from L&T InfoTech where he held the roles of Head of Global People Supply Chain and Chief Delivery Officer (CDO). He has also served as CDO at companies such as Mastek and Mphasis, and he has been a member of various corporate boards.

Vassil Avramov

Vassil Avramov

Chief Technology Officer

Vassil steers Ness’s technology direction. Before joining the company he was CEO and co-founder of Risk Focus, a financial technology consultancy acquired by Ness in 2021. He has lead teams building trade, risk management, and connectivity platforms for some of the largest banks, hedge funds, and clearinghouses.

Vassil started his career in Silicon Valley with one of the pioneers of handwriting recognition, then moved into FinTech as a developer before moving into client management with a risk software vendor. He is a founder and board member of RegTek Solutions, a regulatory software solution acquired by Bloomberg in 2019

Pete Rogers is Managing Director of Western Europe for Ness Digital Engineering. With an acumen for the business of Agile software development, the provision of Software-as-a-Service, and SLA-based service delivery, he has helped many companies successfully realize the business benefits of technology. Pete has worked closely with organizations across 15 countries in sectors including Digital Media, Broadcasting, Financial Services and Telecoms.

Pete joined Ness in 2013 to further build upon the company’s strong presence in Europe. Prior to coming to Ness, Pete held leadership positions at Cognizant Technology Solutions and GlobalLogic. He has also established European subsidiaries for software and technology services organizations including ITM software, mBlox, and Seer Technologies.

Drew Naukam

Global Chief Growth Officer

Drew Naukam is Ness Digital Engineering’s Chief Growth Officer for North America. Drew brings 20+ years of experience consulting with leading firms in digital product engineering, SaaS transformation, organizational strategy, change management, sales leadership, new business development and strategic marketing.

Prior to joining Ness, Drew served as SVP and GM for the Commerce and Technology business unit at GlobalLogic. Drew has also served as Senior Vice President for Hitachi Consulting’s Technology Industry Vertical, Product Engineering Services BU and established the company’s Microsoft technology practice. Previously, Drew managed the national sales and marketing functions for Geniant, which was acquired by EMC.

Joel drives Ness’s business strategy and customer offerings. During his career, he has been instrumental in hundreds of business-critical projects with clients from nearly every major capital-markets company.

He is the founder and CEO of Random Walk Computing, one of the leading firms for custom software development and technology strategy services to the capital-markets industry. He is also the former CEO and a current board member of Masten Space Systems, which won the X-prize for vertical takeoff and landing under his leadership

Rajul Rana

Rajul Rana is Chief Solutions Officer for Ness Digital Engineering. In his role, Rajul leads the evolution of Ness’ solutions approach, ensuring that we leverage core and emerging technologies to deliver the innovative digital platforms our customers use to achieve competitive advantage. He leads Ness’ Solution Architecture group and a team of consultants who provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance as customers map out their digital journeys. Rajul and his team also collaborate closely with Ness’ delivery experts to develop new solutions and accelerators that take advantage of the latest technologies to address market needs.

Rajul is a technology veteran with more than 25 years of experience in digital technologies. He joined Ness from LiquidHub (acquired by Capgemini), where he served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Prior to that, he was CTO and co-founder of aSpark, a company that leverages emerging technologies to bring customer-led innovation into enterprises. Rajul also held various roles at Mphasis, concluding his 12-year career there as Chief Architect.

Narayanan Nair

Narayanan Nair is Ness Digital Engineering’s Chief People Officer, leading the organization’s Global Recruitment and Human Resources functions. Narayanan works closely with internal stakeholders and respected industry organizations to build on our talented, global base of engineers, whose experience exceeds industry average. He believes that the pace of change in the digital age requires a work environment that is highly learning-oriented and intellectually stimulating—which at Ness means opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across countries, create cutting-edge solutions for clients, and take inspiration from a culture that not only encourages innovation, but also consistently delivers it.

Narayanan has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources within organizations ranging from Fortune 100 multinationals to IT product start-ups. Prior to joining Ness, he led HR for large scale operations at Mphasis and held senior leaderships roles including Head of Global Recruitment and International HR. He has also served in leadership roles at GlaxoSmithKline, GE-GXS, and CA (Computer Associates).

David Pester

David Pester

Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel

David Pester is Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel of Ness. He is responsible for providing legal guidance for all aspects of the company’s business, including corporate governance, compliance and data protection, mergers and acquisitions, sales and other commercial agreements, litigation and employment matters. With over 25 years of experience, David has gained a reputation as a businessperson’s lawyer by seeking creative solutions to complex problems ensuring that the business, strategic, and financial objectives of the organization become operational reality.

David is a trusted member of senior leadership teams, advising public and private equity based companies on a wide range of global legal functions. Prior to joining Ness, David served as the General Counsel & Chief Corporate Development Officer at Qualitest, the Chief Legal Officer for iQor, General Counsel at Phorm, VP Corporate Counsel and Head of M&A Legal Group for AT&T, and a senior associate at Paul, Weiss.
