INVESTMENT FIRM SEES REAL SAVINGS THROUGH DATA VIRTUALIZATION
An NYC founded multinational investment firm was looking to unlock real-time insights from their data and increase operational efficiency of its sales/marketing team.
As their product websites and applications span 80 countries with over 1,200 mutual fund products; they struggled with dozens of systems consuming product reference and market data that were largely connected point-to-point and needed to be tightly integrated to provide real-time information.
Ness built a Data Virtualization solution that ingests data from multiple sources, calculates and creates publishable reference, pricing and performance data, which is then distributed to downstream systems across the enterprise thus allowing sales and marketing to leverage near real-time data for end consumers.
In the end, Ness helped create $1M in savings each year due to faster time to market and a smaller team with data ingested from 22 sources, categorized in 30 canonicals with 500 elements.
