GDPR (The General Data Protection Regulation) will come into force worldwide on May 25, 2018 and will bring along heightened obligations over and above the EU country-level legislation. While there is a lot of focus around ensuring and facilitating process compliance by organizations, the impact of GDPR on technology platforms holding data is worth paying attention to. Although technology platforms could be unique for different organizations, there will be common challenges to consider in making these platforms GDPR compliant.
