ICCS – Strategic/Joint/Operative level

Ness TSG Integrated Command-and-Control System (ICCS) enhances the operational effectiveness of military strategic and operative commands at the upper echelon, while also serving as a Crisis Management System (CMS) for national and regional headquarters.

ICCS seamlessly connects with legacy command-and-control systems without the need to make any adjustments. Suitable for routine, crisis and wartime situations, ICCS enables organizations to conduct highly effective decision making in real time.

The Challenge
Joint staff commanders require a complete and accurate integrated situation picture as well as decision-support tools for effective campaign management. With responsibility over the whole campaign, high-level officers receive inputs from numerous, independent command-and-control systems - from air force, navy, and ground forces to intelligence and logistics. But this diversity and lack of integration make it difficult to create a single integrated situation picture (ISP) of the campaign particularly when needed most - in real time.

In order to see the "big picture," joint staff commanders require a comprehensive, real-time, and reliable ISP based on inputs from all theaters and branches in which friendly and enemy forces operate. By enabling the joint staff to observe the overall campaign and upgrade military decision making throughout the ranks, a uniform ISP significantly improves campaign management.

As the supplier of Integrated Command-and-Control System (ICCS) for the Israel Defense Forces' headquarters, Ness TSG meets this challenge.

The Solution
Leveraging advanced technologies, state-of-the-art solutions, and a deep understanding of defense organizations, Ness TSG offers Integrated Command and Control System (ICCS).
ICCS creates a comprehensive, real-time, and uniform integrated situation picture, presented to diverse users such as intelligence and operations officers in their required resolution, while offering drill-down capabilities.
ICCS provides two-way connectivity between the ISP and the commands. The commands feed ICCS with their current situation pictures, which continuously update the ISP. ICCS then enables the transfer of information back to the commands based on the updated ISP.
By linking the ISP to all commands, ICCS helps commanders throughout the ranks conduct high-quality situation assessments, make intelligent decisions, and take action rapidly, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness at all echelons.
