Mission of the eHealth program under the Healthcare department of SR is, by means of establishing the National Health Information System (NHIS) and National Health Portal (NHP) within eHealth, to provide the right information at the right time and the right place to facilitate the management, regulation and supervision of all participants within this department.
■ Support quality, security, availability and efficiency of the healthcare delivery.
■ Create space for increasing the effectiveness of expenses used in the healthcare system from public resources.
Ness' strategic concepts within the eHEalth program:

Considerably promote the establishment of eHeatlh domain and comprehensive information support of processes of healthcare delivery.

Build an eHealth Competence centre for CEE, covering the pre-sales needs which enable professional growth of the consulting team and ultimately also the knowledge management in eHealth area for Ness Global.

Within the Competence centre, finish building domain knowledge (legislation, world standards, EU funds, standards, etc.).

Create a comprehensive idea on building eHealth within the conditions of Slovak healthcare sector and communicate it towards stakeholders. Publish this idea in “Blueprint” form (matrix of services vs. service providers and inputs vs. product portfolio).

Design product/s for building complex IS on the NHIS level for eHealth domain.

Transform the product competence from eSO 1 to CEE (also support of partnership business outside Ness Global).

Define the product and knowledge competence of NESS for further eSO phases within the eHealth program, with focus on the integration of solutions into IS of healthcare providers.
