Ness, a global provider of end-to-end solutions and services and an expert consortium led by NESS Slovakia, Inc. and LYNX Ltd. Košice won a public tender with the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic (MH SR) to provide the first phase of Electronic Healthcare Services (eSO1).
NESS Slovakia Inc. shall serve in this project as system integrator and shall cover the development and delivery of the application part of the solution, including integration of individual application within the National Healthcare Information System.
The objectives of the consortium in phase one are to implement:

National Health Portal, to ensure the central provision of authorized health-related information to patients, healthcare personnel and other entities and shall serve as the single and central entrance gate for users of national eHealth applications.

System of electronic appointment scheduling – so-called eAllocation – to streamline and facilitate citizens’ and doctors’ of first contact access to healthcare services, in making appointments to see a doctor, to get vaccination and laboratory and specialized tests.

System of ePrescription to enable electronization of the prescription and medication process, including doctor’s assistance in choosing the drug with respect to indications, allergies, contraindications and secured access of a doctor and pharmacist to patient’s medication history.

System of an Electronic Health Book of Citizen, in this phase providing the citizens and their doctors with informative health-relevant data (so-called PHR) on a citizen-patient.
