Mobile technologies promise to maintain human health, treatment and care. They offer more efficient use of health care. Thanks to current mobile technologies, services for remote medical care could be providing for almost everyone.

Users rely on mobile phones, which are connected, unlike computers 24 hours a day, it always from anywhere able to reach anyone. Why not to use mobile communication and its personal approach to health care and wellbeing of consumers - the patients.

We are already working on a range of mobile services, involving the participation of medical equipment, medics who are unwilling or unable to wait in the office for example by video consulting. Health professionals expect to be able to prescribe drugs by remote during the ongoing treatment, control use of drugs, access to additional data on health status in real time or conduct further investigation or actions.

A substantial part of the "Mobile Health", of course, revolves around money, which today are related to health a very sensitive issue. It shows, however, several ways, how to fund "Mobile Health". The first concept of services is their use in clinical practice by financing of medical facilities, insurance companies or employers. Health services are expecting from the deployment of mobile technology more efficient capacity utilization of physicians, health professionals and health facilities, better use of medicines and other materials and services. The second way is to involve in the financing of the service users themselves or patients. Here we show that a large group of users are willing to pay extra for services that contribute to their health. This applies especially to the various telemetry services for monitoring the physical condition and data on health status, etc.

Today, one considers mobile phones and SMS messages as a communication standard. We use fast and reliable SMS messages in everyday life but also even when health may be at risk.

SMS communication might improve quality of information contained in healthcare information systems. Both patients and medical staff can ask for contacts and addresses, surgery and opening hours just by a simple SMS. By SMS, you can order yourself for a medical examination or inspection. On the other hand, automated messages from information healthcare systems may serve as quick and safe information about the following medical tests, laboratory results, or even reminders of regular medicine application for patients. Medical professionals are informed about their duty schedule, planned operations or eventual changes in dates. Technical staff can be informed about the actual condition of IT systems, important medical equipment and special devices.
