Based on the analysis of the work and scope defined, Ness suggested an innovative three-phased approach:
- Ness worked with IBM and defined an offsite model for this work, at the Ness PeopleSoft Competence Center. It enabled the upgrade of nearly 500 non-standard objects in less than 45 calendar days.
- Ness then defined the other areas like data conversion and additional customizations and reports. This project was awarded to the Ness’ offsite team.
- Ness also provided an onsite team to work with IBM project managers, covering database and Unix administration, PeopleSoft application administration and security.
- In addition, Ness set up a strong technical and functional team to support the onsite IBM project managers identifying the customizations and implementing them.

We would be happy to recommend Ness, and would be prepared to use Ness GSG In the future to assist in similar complex solution delivery”
- Andrew Woodhouse, Director, PeopleSoft Solution Group, IBM.
