The client has asked Ness to streamline the end-to-end clinical trial metadata capture and analysis process by applying cutting edge technologies in the area of Knowledge Management, Search and Retrieval, and Query Management. The objective of this project was allow the client to perform this task for various therapeutic areas in a scalable and an efficient manner that would not require the same level of subject matter expertise and manual intervention.
In the process, Ness generated value for the client by:
- Reengineering existing KM process to insert appropriate technologies to improve throughput
- Optimizing valuable SME time
- Eliminating unnecessary effort involved in finding, classifying, and evaluating content
- Leveraging domain understanding to improve breadth and quality of medical research content
