The mission of ACLI’s Internet site is to continue to provide access to information about products offered by member companies, as well as to educate, brand, and promote ACLI as the leading organization supporting standard platform.
Working closely with ACLI, Ness completed all phases of the project lifecycle, from Requirements and Design to Development and Deployment of the site. During this effort, several strategic business initiatives and technical objectives were identified as critical to the success of the re-architected site. These objectives included:
- Resolving the critical problems inherent in current site architecture and ensuring that the new backbone technology was both flexible and compatible with future technologies
- Streamlining internal site management by implementing content management and
workflow
- Allowing multiple levels of user and group access
- Increasing the revenue stream from non-Member organizations
- Remarketing the organization through products and services – serving as the best source of information
- Recruiting and retaining membership and increasing site usage by delivering dynamic, targeted content and products through personalization organizations
- Adding e-Commerce functionality for meeting registration and publications purchase
