Forward Observer
Guard Unit Armory Device Full-Crew Interactive Simulation Trainer (Guardfist II) Ness' Forward Observer Trainer, GF II, has been selected as the main artillery forward observer trainer for the U.S. Army. This trainer employs the most advanced state-of-the-art technology in the audio visual field, along with a sophisticated Man Machine Interface for operators, and comprehensive tools for maintenance. In the last five years Ness has provided hundreds of these trainers to the US Government.
System Description
The GF II is produced in 2 versions: - A 1:30 system located in a room which trains up to thirty observers. Each observer - from his position and with his equipment - observes a battlefield projected on a large screen display. The scenario is prepared and monitored by the instructor from his station.- A 1:1 system for instructors providing individual training.
